![]() To fix the problem, I had a full uninstall of 7.4 and reinstalled 7.3 and everything started running smooth again. Maybe this fix is causing the issue with Pro Tools. In the download info, it's said that there is a kind of fix for Apollo user with crashes -38. since there's never been crashes like that before with other versions of UAD like 7.3 and below, I can only believe that The problem is on 7.4 For my surprise, after the update to 7.4 in my other machine the same crash happened, so, the only conclusion I could come to is that there is some kind of problem between UAD 7.4 and Pro Tools 10. ![]() Both Macs are running 10.8.5 and Pro tools 10 Native. Just to test the theory that the cause could be the 7.4 update, i updated my other OSX system to 7.4. It took me an entire day and many machine restarts until I was calm enough to think that i had never had crashes like these before and started thinking what I had done that could possibly cause those crashes and realized that all I did was the update to had 7.4. After saving and quitting and trying to start Pro tools again, I had another message saying that The Native Card was using a firmware that didn't being it or something like that.Īfter restarting the computer, everything was smooth again for a few minutes and than I had the same message again. I have never had any problems with both my MAC OSX Pro tools 10 and uad plug-ins before, but after I updated to version 7.4 I started experiencing crashes saying that Pro tools Native Card found that the number of devices had changed and asking me to save and quit. ![]() I am here just to share with you something that I discovered after I updated my had version from 7.3 to 7.4. ![]()
